Years of Mentor-Protégé RelationshipTyto Athene, LLC and Veterans First Initiative, LLC have been engaged in a long-term working partnership beginning in 2014. The relationship was formalized through the U.S. Department of Defense’s Mentor-Protégé Partnership Program in 2016 and continues today. This Mentor-Protégé Partnership relationship combines the resources of a larger company with the performance agility of a smaller organization. Tyto Athene and VFI have worked hand-in-hand developing, designing, and implementing projects for government customers, including the U.S. Marine Corps, Department of Energy's Sandia National Laboratories and Idaho National Laboratory, the U.S. Army PEO EIS, and the Defense Logistics Agency.
Optima Government Solutions was formed as a joint venture between VFI and Tyto-Athene in 2020. Evolving from over 40 years of Federal Government Contracting Experience, Optima has the engineering qualifications of a seasoned systems integrator. Our team is comprised of a highly-educated, skilled, and certified workforce and maintains a strong network of OEM, integrator, and government contractor partners.
